I have to admit that I don’t always like horror. I wouldn’t say I’m not a fan, because if it’s really good, well-written and deals with things I care about I love it, but I tend to be a bit distrustful towards this genre – I think, though, that the reason for this is more B-category movies, rather than books. I really should discover more books in this genre!

I admit that I’ve never read The Butcher Book Series, nothing written by Sian Claven, to be honest, but I find these new covers dreadfully stunning! They add to the feeling that I should read these books.

    1. Mostly I feel like they’re either ridiculous or too scary. I like the more psychological ones, but that’s borderline psychological thriller anyway, so… Horror might not be completely my thing 😅 buddy reading is a good idea if you’re scared of it, I think. It might help when you have somebody to discuss it with 😊
