Quote of the Week

This week’s quote is very short:

β€œMay you live every day of your life.”

— Jonathan Swift

To be honest, I was about to choose something long and descriptive about life (theme because I’m in that kind of mood), but this one just stuck with me.

It’s perfect. Short, laconic, direct. Yet it has everything in it. It means so much!

This sounds like an easy thing to do, but many times it’s not that easy at all. I think trying is really worth it, though. It may not be easy, but it is simple. Like this quote.

I’m fascinated.

This is what I wish for all of you, guys! ❀

    1. Thank you! 😊 I have those days from time to time for sure! Probably everybody has. It’s okay, I think, up to a point… I guess it’s the amount of time one spends ‘not living’ that decides if it’s something bad. What’s important at the end of the day is to altogether have more ‘living’ in our lives than ‘not living’! ☺️

      1. Well phrased! I think you’re right; my “not living” days have been because I needed to accomplish (or simply survive) something, so they’re a necessary evil. I need to do more “living” on the other days, though, I reckon!
